Cacao is a gentle yet powerful plant medicine. In Mayan traditions, Cacao has been revered, studied and worked with both in and out of ceremony. Cacao sometimes known as the 'food of the gods' is a wonderful gift from mother earth.
Cacao, used with intention is wonderful at helping you to move out of your head and into your heart. Body and mind become more receptive and open to meditation, connection and creativity.
Cacao can be used in meditation, dancing, singing, writing and setting daily intentions.
Cacao can be a daily ritual as you sit with it in personal ‘ceremony’ or whenever you feel called by the Spirit of Cacao. The spirit of Cacao is a feminine presence that you may feel powerfully guide and assist you with healing and opening your heart, releasing emotions, connect with your inner child, and activate your authentic self.
Many find Cacao to be grounding and clarifying.

What is Ceremonial Cacao?
The Cacao we use in personal, one to one and group ceremonies is known as Ceremonial Cacao. There are a couple of different varieties we use and what they have in common is they have been very carefully sourced.Although all chocolate is made from Cacao, ceremonial Cacao has been minimally processed meaning the cacao beans contain all or most of their natural compounds and is made from the whole bean and is never tempered. The other important thing is the intention behind the cacao, the journey it’s been on from tree to your cup. the trees, the lands, the farmers, the process and the sacred cacao that you drink are all treated with love, respect and reverence.
